Video Poker Pay Table

NB!  Make sure you check the pay table at the casino you are playing they do vary.

Amongst all the colors and beautiful aspects of the machine…the object that stands out the most, is the pay table. Not only does the pay table show us, how much there is to be won, but also shows us, whether it is worthwhile playing at the machine. The pay table reveals how much the machine pays back if perfectly played.

Here is an example of a pay table of on a Video Poker machine:

Hand

1st Coin 2nd Coin 3rd Coin 4th Coin 5th Coin
Royal Flush 250 500 750 1000 4000
Straight Flush 50 100 150 200 250
Four of a Kind 25 50 75 100 125
Full House 9 18 27 36 45
Flush 6 12 18 24 32
Straight 4 8 12 16 20
Three of a Kind 3 6 9 12 15
Two Pair 2 4 6 8 10
Pair of Jacks or Better 1 2 3 4 5

All the machine’s payoffs are scaled according to the amount of coins played.

Automatically this means, that the player gets twice the payoff when playing two coins, three times the amount when playing three coins etc..

The flush pays six times the amount wagered (coins played) at any time, except for when the player gets a royal flush.

For the first four coins, the player receives 250 coins for every coin played…that’s if he hits the royal flush. However…here is where the bomb falls in! If the player plays 5 coins and hits the royal flush, he will receive 800! Yes, 800 coins for every one of the 5 coins he played. That adds up to an amazing 4000 coins!

Another important thing to keep in mind is that the cost of the player’s bet, is automatically included in the amount that is paid off to him. So, if you were to hit a pair of jacks or better, you shouldn’t feel discouraged for not winning much, because you merely being returned the amount you wagered!
